Through our dedication to excellence, we will help bring our patients' to maximum periodontal health. Lindsay B. Eastman, DDS, MS,PA
Dr. Lindsay Eastman received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1978 from Loyola University Dental School where he completed his Graduate training in Periodontics and his Masters of Science in Oral Biology. He received his Post-Graduate specialty training in Surgical Placement of Implants from Northwestern University Dental School in 1990 and completed Business Management Training from Pride Institute in 1992. He has maintained a successful periodontal practice in Bradenton, FL since 1980.
Dr. Eastman facilitated the initiative to create the Dental Hygiene Program at Manatee Community College in 1998 and is Chairman on the Advisory Committee. He has served as president of the Manatee Dental Society and as a local board member since 1994. He is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, American Academy of Osseointegration, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and the West Coast Dental Society as well as many others.

Christine "Chris" M. Ponto, RDH
Chris completed her Associate of Science degree in Dental Hygiene and graduated with honors (Sigma Phi Alpha) from Pensacola Junior College in 1981. She has worked in the field of general dentistry, orthodontics and periodontics and has worked with Dr. Eastman for over 25 years. She has been an adjunct faculty member and clinical instructor at Manatee Community College School of Dental Hygiene teaching students instrumentation, clinical skills and techniques. Dental hygiene and periodontics are her passion. She is a part-time hygienist and a full-time mother of one. She is married and lives in Bradenton.

Tara K. Gourlay, RDH
Tara completed her Associate of Science degree in Dental Hygiene with honors from Manatee Community College. While in school, she served as president of the Student American Dental Hygiene Association. Additionaly, she has an Associates degree in respitory care. For the past 12 years she has worked as a critical care RRT (Registered Respitory Therapist) and is certified in advanced cardiac life support. Whether helping to treat and prevent oral disease or helping someone to breathe easier, Tara enjoys improving the quality of her patient's lives. She began working with Dr. Eastman in 2004 and is the dental hygiene area manager. Tara is married with two children.

Janelle Miller, RDH
Janelle received her Certificate in Dental Assisting in 2003 and went on to further her education by earning her Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene from Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville, FL in 2005. A Bradenton native, Janelle found her passion for dentistry while working for a local dental office while in high school. She has found great satisfaction in improving patients smile and returning their mouth to a state of dental health. When not taking care of patients, Janelle and her husband like to spend time with their two dogs, Zoe and Onyx. She and her husband are avid Florida Gator Fans.

Brett A. Muncie, RDH
Brett received his Associate of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from St. Petersburg Junior College in St. Petersburg, FL in 1998. He began working with Dr Eastman in 1999 and found his niche. He completed Nobel Biocare's training on NobelGuide: Computer planning Software for Dental Implants in 2005 during its initial release in the U.S. and prepares CT scans for viewing by Dr. Eastman. He carries a dual role in the office, acting as both Dental Hygienist and technology supervisor, maintaining all computer systems, technologies and equipment as well as taking care of patients. He is married, father of two boys and is a 6th generation native Florida resident.

Kathy Yursky, RN
Kathy received her Associates of Science degree in Nursing from Manatee Community College. She joined Dr. Eastman's team in 2004 furthering her accomplishments as a nurse. Kathy's passion is to help people feel better and that drives her to stay on the leading edge in her profession. She is an active member of the National Association of Orthopedic Nurses and is certified in advanced cardiac life support. When not caring for her patients, Kathy enjoys being with her family and two dogs. She is an avid trivia buff and a huge Tampa Bay Bucaneer fan.

Caitlin M. Blanchard - Dental Assistant
Caitlin received her Expanded Duties Certification in dental assisting from Manatee Technical Institue. She has been a part of Dr. Eastman's team since 2003. Caitlin works along side Dr. Eastman assisting in surgeries and enjoys meeting new people during their new patient interviews. She loves working with her fellow team members and patients like her warm smile and caring personality. Originally from Vermont, Caitlin is married and has lived in Florida for several years.

Carol H.
Carol is the insurance and financial coordinator. She processes all insurance related transactions and helps answers the many questions patients have about insurance. She reviews the financial aspect of our patients' treatment plans with them and helps make financial arrangements for our patients. She has an education in accounting and has ten years experience in dentistry. She enjoys working with patients and having the satisfaction of helping people accomplish their dental health needs.

Sherri Coleman
Sherri began working with Dr Eastman over 3 years ago after leaving a 17 year career in banking to learn more about the field of dentistry. She is our dental hygiene appointment coordinator and is cross-trained in clinical appointment coordiation and Financial Coordination for the office as well. She is a "New Yorker" at heart, but has lived in Florida for 21 years and has two boys.

Shelly "Shell" Z.
Whether calling on the phone or checking in for your appointment, she is the first person you'll be greeted by. She has enjoyed helping patients in our practice since 2001. She is a certifed Patient Care Assistant who enjoyed doing hospice visits before joining our team. A true native Floridian, she was born in Manatee County and has lived here her entire life. She is the mother of four boys and grandmother of 3 beautiful grandchildren who she loves to visit in Indiana as much as possible.

Sue is the clinical and new patient coordinator. She works with each patient so they understand their treatment recommendations and helps schedule their appointments in our office. She loves working with patients and enjoys having the satisfaction of helping people. She and her husband are native Vermonters, but have lived in Bradenton since 2001.

Lynn Watts
Lynn is the transcriptionist for the office. She has over 17 years experience in transcribing and has an Associate of Science degree in Medical Secretary/Medical Assisting from Baypath Junior College in East Longmeadow, MA. Lynn volunteers her time with Mote Marine Turtle Program, The Florida Center for Children and Families and the Make a Wish Foundation. Her "pup" Toby is a therapy pet for the Humane Society of Sarasota. Lynn loves spending time with her dog Toby and riding her motorcycle.
