Our team will determine if full arch dental implants are right for you based on a discussion of your smile goals and a comprehensive dental exam. This includes a 3D scan of your mouth with our in-house cone beam CT scanner. We may recommend implant supported dentures if we feel they better suit your needs. From this point on we can begin planning your implant placement. Guided technology from NobelGuide™ and Simplant allows us to both complete a “dry run” of your procedure beforehand and develop customized surgical guides to use during your following visit.

Our team will place your implants on your next visit. We begin the process by making you comfortable with one or more sedation options  that will keep you relaxed and pain-free throughout your procedure. We’ll then perform any preparatory treatments you may need such as bone grafting to rebuild your jawbone or tooth extractions. Following that, we’ll place your custom surgical guides over your gums and insert as few as four implants per arch through them into your jawbone. The guides make the process extremely quick and precise. Finally, temporary restorations can be placed in the same day so you can eat, speak, and smile normally while healing!

Your implant sites may take three or more months to heal following surgery. During that period, your implants will permanently fuse with your jawbone. Once that process is complete, you’ll see your restorative dentist to receive your final restorations. These will look, function, and feel just like real teeth.
